The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot has succeeded in a real pleasure in the mobile community. It is the first GSM mobile phone, with a whopping 8-megapixel camera on the value of a good and these things just can not go unnoticed.
You've probably already covered by the news scoop and you know the sweet details - facial recognition, intelligent contrast, a Xenon flash and a photo-flash, as well as the full set of features geotagging camera. A 2.4-inch QVGA TFT screen with scratch-resistant mineral glass deck that serves as a viewfinder.
The Sony Ericsson C905 looks like an excellent high-end phone - our old faithful 8 Megapixel Canon EOS-1D Mark II N is the sense bit threatened. Is it going to keep their jobs?
The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot also comes with a built-in accelerometer for automatic rotation of screen, TV-out port, GPS and wait for ... Wi-Fi support. Yes, that's true for wireless networking function in a regular phone.
And we also have a quad-band GSM / EDGE connectivity, UMTS and HSDPA support, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP that the group of Nerd), USB and FM radio with RDS? Well, is a combination of all standards. And so it happened that we managed to sneak a quick go to work.
In fact, the Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot apparently has never heard of nutrition and healthy eating. Embedded GPS receiver
The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot offers the full range of services that already seen in some of the latest devices like the Sony Ericsson W760 and C702.
The location of the service pack uses the technology of GPS receiver and application-wise, Google Maps for mobile phones, the Wayfinder Navigator 7, a GPS-and status of an application for registration of the GPS application. Google Maps is an excellent application and best of all it's free, but does not offer step-by-step navigation.
Wayfinder Navigator 7 is the real deal with navigation software, but in recent models from Sony Ericsson offers time-limited trial step by step navigation, and then requires a monthly subscription. The situation with the C905 is not much different.
Connectivity and Wi-Fi
Probably the most fascinating feature of the Sony Ericsson C905 (after its 8-megapixel camera, of course) is the Wi-Fi connectivity. It is fairly well implemented in the user interface, and it is more logical. Once the Wi-Fi, you'll receive a list of wireless hot spots. Connection is a matter of a single click - it's so easy. The Web browser and all other data traffic re-routing through the Wi-Fi by default, if it is connected.
Other options allow you to search through their networks hidden SSID, check the connection status, the MAC address (that you can not change that), and auto-configuration of the connection and Wi-Fi priorities.
The wireless capacity of the C905 is even more enhanced by the presence of support SIP (VoIP) and network distribution. That was a pleasant surprise.
The C905 comes with the NetFront 4 / 5 Web browser, which is a browser capable of surprising (to a function, the phone).
