The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot has succeeded in a real pleasure in the mobile community. It is the first GSM mobile phone, with a whopping 8-megapixel camera on the value of a good and these things just can not go unnoticed.
You've probably already covered by the news scoop and you know the sweet details - facial recognition, intelligent contrast, a Xenon flash and a photo-flash, as well as the full set of features geotagging camera. A 2.4-inch QVGA TFT screen with scratch-resistant mineral glass deck that serves as a viewfinder.
The Sony Ericsson C905 looks like an excellent high-end phone - our old faithful 8 Megapixel Canon EOS-1D Mark II N is the sense bit threatened. Is it going to keep their jobs?
The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot also comes with a built-in accelerometer for automatic rotation of screen, TV-out port, GPS and wait for ... Wi-Fi support. Yes, that's true for wireless networking function in a regular phone.
And we also have a quad-band GSM / EDGE connectivity, UMTS and HSDPA support, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP that the group of Nerd), USB and FM radio with RDS? Well, is a combination of all standards. And so it happened that we managed to sneak a quick go to work.
In fact, the Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot apparently has never heard of nutrition and healthy eating. With a thickness of 18mm (up to 19 / 5 at its thickest part), is a serious Fella fat - at least through the phone function standards. There are other really popular smartphones, the thickness of the problem even more, but the C905 Cyber-shot is not a smartphone.
Well, the C905 is really good. Some high-quality materials were used for the preparation of their excess body weight and is prepared correctly. We knew that we like when we close our eyes on him for the first time
however, seeing what it's worth a first glance is never enough. Hit this little bump on the road to learn from Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot a little better.
The user interface
The Sony Ericsson C905 has a graphical user interface updated Sony Ericsson, has opted for all the latest phones from Sony Ericsson. And just to mention again - the C905 is not a smartphone, despite the presence of GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Media Center is, of course, to give access to all multimedia content stored. It has the automatic rotation of screen thanks to the built-in accelerometer and a TV-out port. Sport music player Mega Bass equalizer preset for the Walkman audio-hard fans.
Sony Ericsson C905 360 degrees of rotation
The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot measures 104 x 49 x 18 mm. These 18 mm cited are the thinnest part of the device. The area around the camera lens reaches 19.5 mm.
Design and construction
C905 The 136 g in weight and size is almost identical with the Nokia N81. All buttons are comfortable to use and pleasant with tactility. Above the screen there are two additional keystrokes - the left shows you the last photo that was taken while the law opens the photo gallery. These two additional effects, if the camera is on. The left open the recording mode, while the right menu starts the scene mode menu. The keypad of the C905 is almost entirely themselves, but it is nice to type. The target covers an excellent mechanism for the sport - which consists of two parts - if you push the top show of agreement, the camera lens, the smallest piece in the sink to make room for slippage of parts. Both sides are some of finely brushed metal and the C905 actually a refined appearance

Other features include a digital camera stabilization SmartContrast special recording mode, as well as the traditional BestPic and Panorama. Several scenes are also available, like facial recognition. Thanks to the built-in GPS, geotagging is also on board.
As far as video is concerned, the C905 is not yet in a position to compete with market leaders in this regard. The C905 maxes in QVGA resolution at 30 fps. That's enough for a nice video, but there is still much to be desired from a high-end camera phone
Embedded GPS receiver
The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot offers the full range of services that already seen in some of the latest devices like the Sony Ericsson W760 and C702.
The location of the service pack uses the technology of GPS receiver and application-wise, Google Maps for mobile phones, the Wayfinder Navigator 7, a GPS-and status of an application for registration of the GPS application. Google Maps is an excellent application and best of all it's free, but does not offer step-by-step navigation.
Wayfinder Navigator 7 is the real deal with navigation software, but in recent models from Sony Ericsson offers time-limited trial step by step navigation, and then requires a monthly subscription. The situation with the C905 is not much different.
Connectivity and Wi-Fi
Probably the most fascinating feature of the Sony Ericsson C905 (after its 8-megapixel camera, of course) is the Wi-Fi connectivity. It is fairly well implemented in the user interface, and it is more logical. Once the Wi-Fi, you'll receive a list of wireless hot spots. Connection is a matter of a single click - it's so easy. The Web browser and all other data traffic re-routing through the Wi-Fi by default, if it is connected.
Other options allow you to search through their networks hidden SSID, check the connection status, the MAC address (that you can not change that), and auto-configuration of the connection and Wi-Fi priorities.
The wireless capacity of the C905 is even more enhanced by the presence of support SIP (VoIP) and network distribution. That was a pleasant surprise.
The C905 comes with the NetFront 4 / 5 Web browser, which is a browser capable of surprising (to a function, the phone). The only other thing that is noteworthy is that the Web browser also benefits from technology in the accelerometer and the screen automatically rotates the 8-megapixel camera sounds sweet
Well, all of the important role of each card for GPRS is the execution chamber. The Sony Ericsson C905 is armed with an 8-megapixel shooter that is capable of a maximum resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels.
That's enough for a nice video, but there is still much to be desired from a high-end phone.
