Researchers at Washington University launched a study to illustrate if the human mind can control the cursor movements on a computer screen. To achieve this, the patient's brain directly connected to the computer using electrocortiography electronics that can record brain activity.
From this study it was found if the people who do not have any ability to control the device up to 90 percent accuracy rate. Experts believe this is a new way to help people who have limitations.
This study leader is Dr. Eric C. Leuthardt from Washington University School of Medicine. "This is an early example of what is called reading the mind in which people referred to it as an internal dialogue," he explained.
